Polls at some point predicted the following:
Huckabee is not a serious contender
HRC was the candidate of inevitability
Obama would win NH by double digits.
Polls rarely turn out to be right (it seems like that anyway…I admit I haven’t performed any scientific research yet), and I think this is a perfect example as to why.
I know many Democrats and liberals and “left of center” folks that are Christians: evangelicals, born agains, or just plain old protestants.
So why do you think the pollsters failed to ask the questions regarding religion in the exit polling of Democrats? This is NOT a rhetorical question and I am not trying to be sarcastic. I would really like to know from both sides why the pollsters would assume to not ask the question of Democrats.
