The Golden Compass – I’ll Pass

Matt Barber at Townhall.com gives quite a review of the movie The Golden Compass.  I heard about this movie and the author’s (Philip Pullman) anti-God views at church a few weeks ago.   I usually don’t comment on movies that I have not already viewed myself, but given the author’s own words on the subject, I’ll probably skip this one.

“Ironically, Pullman’s confident pronouncement that there is no God appears to take an exclusive backseat to his hatred for the very God he denies. “My books are about killing God,” he told The Sydney Morning Herald in a 2003 interview.”

I’ll probably see Bella instead.  Does anyone want to babysit for us?
