Ethan Asher! (What kind of father would I be if I didn’t feature my new baby boy?)
This wasn’t a difficult decision to make, but the votes were very close. The runner-up (one vote difference) is Katie. The fact that she pushed another human being out of her body automatically qualified her for at least 2nd place.
Ethan came into the world a little blue, with the chord wrapped around his neck, but with some very quick work by Dr. Vick, Ethan announced his entrance into the world with quite a cry. He was 7 lbs. 13 oz. and 18 1/2″ long. This length was contested though. For the record, the nurse said, “Well he was moving around a bit and I couldn’t get a good measurement.” This error was later confirmed when dad got Ethan home and, while changing a diaper, pulled out the tape measure. Let the official record reflect a 3/4″ mistake at the hospital…the pediatrician confirmed Ethan was 19 1/4″ long.

Celebrity Look-a-Like:
E’s hobbies consist of eating, sleeping, and pooping (not necessarily in that order).
Mom and E are doing great and will eventually catch up on sleep, but for now all is well. It is truly a miracle that E is home and healthy and doing well. So many things can go wrong during a pregnancy and birth of a child, and we know that God has blessed our family. We pray that we may raise this child in a way that pleases the Lord, for He has provided and continues to provide for us in every way.
