NFL Players and the Actual Credit Hours They Earn

Why are NFL players allowed to “claim” the college where most of them just hung out and played ball? At the beginning of the game, they show the Offense, player by player, and each player says something like….”Joey Bagodonuts…Meatsack State University.”

Really? Most of them didn’t even graduate. I wonder if that would work for me. I could put on a resume Vanderbilt University.

When asked, I’d just explain that even though I didn’t graduate from there I spent a lot of time there playing rugby. Same concept that applies to NFL players.

If they are going state “their” colleges as if they actually were “students” there, then I think they should have to say it like this…”Joey Bagodonuts…Meatsack State University, 14 credit hours.”

So when you here, Peyton Manning…University of Tennessee, you’ll know they actually graduated.

    Mr. Vandyke,

I graduated from the University of Michigan, which is quite a fine institution of higher learning. Do you feel superior because of your orange degree? I would hope not…as our creator loves us all equal.
