Last week, NBC announced that they would be “going green” with their programming for a week.
Now, for those of you that know me, or have read my posts about “Green Things”, I am not what you would call an environmentalist…I would call myself more a conservationist…
The difference…here’s an example…
As I conservationist I usually practice catch and release when fly fishing…
An environmentalist wouldn’t even want me to step in a river and cause undeserved pain to a trout.
Back to NBC. Maybe this is a concerted effort to actually save the planet from the human disease by NBC, or just their latest attempt to produce a comedy mini-series for sweeps week.

My favorite is Tip # 3…
“Save material resources by renting a costume for Halloween instead of purchasing another costume this year that you’ll probably only wear once or twice.”
Here’s an 8th one to add to the list…
Try not to send almost the entire cast and crews of the Today Show around the World to report on the melting of the planet, thereby greatly reducing your carbon footprint.
Just an idea NBC…hypocrites!
