Meville posts an interesting perspective on the subject of homeschooling. And before the comments start rolling in about how homeschooling is for the privileged upper-class or how homeschoolers are just anti-public school, Meville is a former PUBLIC school teacher and a current stay at home mom. So be warned before you go up against her…she’s smarter than you…(well I’m pretty sure she’s smarter than me when it comes to this stuff).

“how are these kids supposed to learn how to function in a normal society when they are deprived of the chance to form meaningful relationships with kids their own age”
…if these are the kids that are shooting their teachers and fellow students, having sex in the bathrooms, and drinking and doing drugs between classes, then I’d rather my kids be labeled “weird” by society and be able to resist the influences of said society.
