So Obama has “preached” about Hope and Change for months now. And then he picks an old white guy for his VP. Wow. That’s really setting a new standard in politics. Now don’t get me wrong, other than Biden’s love of the camera and running off at the mouth at Supreme Court Justice hearings or just general politicing, I like Joe Biden. He’s the kind of guy that I think I would like to sit down with and drink a few cold beers. Now this does not qualify him for the VP spot in our government. There are other people I drink beer with that would make a better VP, you know those friends that work hard every day just trying to make a living or run a business or raising a family….those type of people, you know the one’s with common sense, I believe could run this country much better than some old establishment white dude….but I digress.
So who will McCain choose. It really doesn’t matter much. Voters don’t really vote for the bottom half of the ticket, but there’s one name that I can think of that will truely bring about Hope and Change…even though that’s not what Johhny boy is running on.
Dolly Parton. Talk about change…talk about Hope for our future.
And here’s why:
1. Interantional recording star…foreign relations experience.
2. American movie star…can pull the libereal Hollywood vote.
3. Imagination Library…a leader in children’s education issues.
4. She’s a hard worker…9 to 5 what a way to make a living.
5. Expert in hair and make-up…can work with the CIA in covert opertaions
6. Sucessful business woman…taking Silver Dollar City and turning it into Dollywood
7. An avid lover of history…the Dixie Stampede
8. She’s well aged…she can pull the AARP vote.
9. She’s honest.

Parton stated that she felt that cosmetic surgery was imperative in keeping with her famous image, but jokingly admitted, “If I have one more facelift, I’ll have a beard!” Parton has repeatedly joked about her physical image and surgeries, saying, “If I see something sagging, bagging, and dragging, I’m going to nip it, tuck it, and suck it!” and “It takes a lot of money to look this cheap.” (The latter comment often referred to her clothing style as well as her surgeries.)”

So McCain, do the right thing and pick Dolly. Obama and Biden watch out. Don’t mess with Dolly.
