It is a question I have been hearing a lot lately. :0) I am so blessed to have so many people who care how I am doing. So thanks everyone for asking.
I have started an MS drug called Copaxone. A nurse came Friday to teach me how to give myself a shot. O.K. It hurts. All that information the drug company puts out that says some may feel a mild sting should be brought up on charges of false advertising. Unless a “mild sting” really means a whole hive of killer bees that attack the same spot simultaneously. I hold the Husband’s hand, he distracts me with some funny story and that helps a little. I have started to experience a little nausea during the day but hopefully that will subside soon (and that may be directly related to the Husband’s ‘funny stories’).
Other than that I am doing well. It is kind of neat to face a huge fear everyday. (mine is needles) I would actually suggest trying it. It makes other things in life seem easier. For example, when I had to pick up a rabbit that one of the dogs killed and brought up to the deck the other day I just think to myself, “O.K. if I can give myself a shot I can pick up a dead rabbit.” There is always a bright side! :0)

God’s grace is abounding in you Katie!
Thanks for keeping us posted.
I’ll come over and do shots with you any time if you can find someone to drive me home.
