In college I was educated in the biological sciences. In graduate school I studied and taught microbiology and cellular biology. Even with all that education I was never one to buy into the whole humans evolved from monkeys theory. Now however, living with a toddler, I am starting to revisit that theory and reconsider my stance.
There were early signs
And currently the “Climb up Anything” gene is starting to assert its genetic dominance. My child can scale almost any structure and get to any “no touch” item he desires. I have not yet been able to capture photographic evidence due to the fact that my monkey is not only an adept climber but an extremely fast one. I will keep observing him in his natural habitat and feel sure to have some more evidence to present later. Stay tuned!
