We aren’t real big fans of haircuts around our house. I figure the boys have the rest of their lives to look respectful. Besides…it’s kind of fun to walk around with a couple of hippies in tow. Those that know me well, also know that the lack of barber shop visits is actually a testament to my “cheapness.”
But after another comment by a passerby [speaking of the Middle Child], “Oh, she has such beautiful hair.”
To which I always respond, “Yes HE does,” and to which The Wife rolls her eyes as if to say, “It’s time.”
So it was with great resistance I took the boys to get their yearly hair trim.
The trip was also driven by the fact that we had coupons for hair cuts that would soon expire, but that’s beside the point.
