Anniversary Ideas

I was updating my google calendar (which I love by the way) today and realized that this Saturday is my one month “anniversary” of being diagnosed with MS. So, in my battle against discouragement I have decided to try to pack lots of fun things into Saturday.

First, we get to hang out with our nephew Gideon for the day. Super fun, he is hysterical. If you ever get a chance to have him around I would highly recommend it. Second, we will be swimming in the kid pool. Thanks Momo. Third, after the boys go to bed I plan to sit on my deck with my sweet husband and share a bottle of Bully Hill Love My Goat- my current favorite wine. This, sadly, is where my bright ideas end. I thought having a plethora humorous and creative readers at KTOWN, I would open the floor for suggestion on how to “celebrate” this and future “anniversaries”.

How about creating a fountain in your front yard with some rocks and a water hose, like the ‘fountain of youth’ in the house by the Handy-D?

Brent, That is my favorite South Knox water feature. Did you know Shawn did the design on that? :0)

Let that Gideon kid stay up all night, give him some sugar, and put on some dance music…. You’ll have plenty of entertainment there… You also did not mention Cops.
