The Boston Herald reports that spanking a child may be outlawed in the Bay State. While this is a ‘slap’ in the face to parents’ rights everywhere, these liberals have finally made a positive move in the area of a child’s rights. Forget for a moment that Massachusetts already has laws against child abuse and follow the logic here:
If spanking a child is considered child abuse, then surely killing a child in the womb or out of the womb is to be outlaw next. So I expect, logically, that the liberal Massachusetts legislation will soon be hearing from the public about the ultimate form of child abuse…wait…sorry…I was using logic here. Never mind, I just realized I used “logic” and “liberal” in the same sentence. My bad.
Proverbs 23:13
Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you strike him with a rod, he will not die.
Proverbs 13:24
Whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him.

‘Whoever spares the rod hates his son…”
Thank God that doesn’t apply to daughters, or I would REALLY be hating her by now.
